Raw Chocolate Balls


We absolutely love these #healthysweettreats. You can get your sweet fix without feeling guilty. My kids love them. Added bonus of being #glutenfree packed full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants!

Ingredients:

½ Cup of Almond Meal

1 Cup of Cashews

1 Cup of Dates

¾ Cup of Cacao

2 Tbs Maple Syrup

½ Cup of Desiccated Coconut

Method:

Firstly you need to soak the dates and cashews separately anywhere from 15 mins to 1 hour, this helps the blending process as it softens them up, the longer you leave the cashews the creamier it will be 

Combine in a bowl the almond meal, cashews, cacao- mix together well with a blender/ food processer

Add in the Dates, Maple Syrup- mix with a blender until you have the right consistency

Then comes the messy bit, grab a small amount of the chocolate mix and roll into small balls, then roll into the desiccated coconut
